Superforecasting & the Market

At our investor day last month, we launched an exciting new trial.

Dr. Phil Tetlock was there with us to launch the partnership with Good Judgement and Trefis, which are two tools we are using to enable the study. The study will be the first of its kind. We are taking a group of sophisticated investors with skin in the game and asking them to make predictions on company fundamentals and stock drivers. We’ll be able to judge our accuracy versus consensus, and of course, Mr. Market will give us continuous feedback.

We launch the trial tomorrow.

As we prepare ourselves for the launch, we thought it would be fitting to post segments of our conversation with Phil last month. In this first video (of two), we discuss the dynamics of superforecasting in the context of the pressures of the market.
